Voor vertrek hadden wij met het team “Duikteam Ortega”, het idee opgevat om de duikwereld weer wat mooier te maken en rommel op te ruimen. We willen immers nog lang in deze mooie wereld te gast zijn. Gewapend met onze duikuitrusting en een aantal netzakken zijn we te water gegaan op het huisrif. Wat is het huisrif met zijn leven toch wonderschoon. het huisrif wat zich tussen de negen en twaalf meter bevindt, barst van het leven en je komt gewoon ogen tekort. Omdat je ook in een gebied zit waar veel lokale bevolking zwemt, vind je tevens afval onder water. We hebben op de terugweg al het afval wat we mee konden nemen in onze netzakken gestopt en mee uit het water genomen. Eenmaal uit het water zie je dan pas eindelijk hoeveel het is. We hebben niet alleen een mooie duik gemaakt met als toetje de huis-schildpad, maar ook de zee een stukje schoner gemaakt !

Armed with our diving equipment and a number of meshbags we went to the house reef. What is the house reef with his life so beautiful. the house reef, which is between nine and twelve meters, is bursting with life and you just lack eyes. Because you are also in an area where many locals swim, you also find waste under water. On the way back we put all the waste that we could take with us into our meshbags and taken out of the water. Once you are out of the water, you can finally see how much it is. We have not only made a nice dive with the house turtle as highlight, but also made the sea a bit cleaner!
