What is the difference between SDI and PADI
SDI, founded in 1998, emphasizes technical diving roots and modern tools like dive computers, focusing on practical skills and progression to technical diving. PADI, established in 1966, is the largest dive agency, offering standardized, accessible recreational diving certifications for over 30 million divers. Both meet WRSTC safety standards but differ in focus: SDI leans toward innovation, while PADI prioritizes broad, consistent training.
