Junior Open Water
(Minimum age: 10 years old + medical certificate to dive )Includes:
- 4 course days (8 dives)
- 2 days: pool / sheltered water diving (house reef)
- 2 days: either on the house reef from the beach or outdoor water diving by boat on the reefs of Safaga
- theory (book or e-learning*), practice and license
- all diving materials, course book, certification and Red Sea tax (excluding dive computer)
- boat diving: € 55 per day
- full dive equipment rental: €25 per day (excluding dive computer)
- Red Sea tax: €5 per day
- Guide: €20 per day
Junior Open Water
General:
- Divers under the age of 15 can obtain a Junior certification
- For junior divers, all course requirements apply except dive depths
- The Junior certification indicates the age restriction. Upon reaching
the age of 15 , the license is automatically transferred to a license without age restriction - After certification, 10 to 11-year-olds may dive with a PADI Professional, certified parent or guardian to a maximum of 12 meters
- 12 to 14-year-olds must dive with an adult, licensed diver.
- Maximum 18 meters for junior Open water divers and 21 meters for follow-up courses.
- After obtaining the Junior Open water certification, it is possible to take various “specialty” courses. If interested, ask for information from the diving instructor.
e-Learning:
Get a code from your instructor that allows you to log into the PADI site. You then do the theory online at your own pace. Once you complete your theoretical exam then, in consultation with your instructor, you can schedule the practical dives.
