Dive sites around Safaga
Panorama Reef South
When the current is favourable a drift dive is possible.
On the southern plateau you are practically guaranteed to see several Napoleon wrasse. It is especially nice that there are many juveniles. Pelagic species such as tuna visit from time to time, and other predators such as bigeye trevally and barracuda hunt large schools of fusiliers. Eagle rays, mantas, whitetip reef sharks, grey reef sharks, silky sharks and even oceanic whitetip sharks have been spotted here.
