A sloping reef edge lands on a sandy slope dotted with coral blocks, eventually dropping away into great depth. Further north the shelf narrows into a ridge that finally gives way to a vertical wall.
Giant moray eels are often seen roaming freely over the plateau, and eagle rays sometimes pass by. On the reef slope you may find an octopus or cuttlefish. Countless anemones shelter families of clownfish all across the plateau. Large predators are known to visit, but do not count on an encounter with sharks.
