A round reef rises from the bottom at a depth of 10 metres, extended by coral gardens to the east and west, and runs down a slope. A ridge projects in a southerly direction, while the bottom descends to a depth of about 15–18 metres.
At the far southern end of the tops there is an overhang with a large gorgonian. Here you can find the longnose hawkfish if you have sharp eyes. Around the reef, especially at the split point, you will find schools of butterflyfish and sweetlips. The coral gardens and the top of the reef are populated by colourful triggerfish, parrotfish, surgeonfish and unicornfish.
